The Forgiveness Experience™: A One-Day Retreat Near Atlanta to Release, Reflect, and Reclaim Your Peace
What Are You Ready To Release?
There are moments when holding on becomes more painful than letting go.
Unforgiveness can quietly occupy your thoughts. It can affect your relationships, interrupt your peace, and keep you emotionally connected to experiences you are ready to move beyond.
On Saturday, September 26, Peace on the Pond will welcome The Forgiveness Experience™, a transformative one-day retreat presented and hosted by Wanda Pearson.
Set on 10 private acres just 35 minutes from Atlanta, Peace on the Pond offers a peaceful sanctuary for reflection, meaningful conversation, and personal renewal. The secluded setting provides space to slow down, breathe deeply, and turn your attention toward what matters most.
This is not simply a day of listening.
It is an invitation to move through an intentional journey:
Arrive. Breathe. Release. Reflect. Reclaim. Walk in Freedom.

A Full Day For Healing And Reflection
Throughout the day, guests will be guided through a thoughtful combination of teaching, reflection, prayer, meaningful conversation, and experiential healing.
The pace is intentionally spacious rather than rushed. You will have time to receive, reflect, connect, and pause between sessions. The day includes nourishing food, peaceful surroundings, and guided activities designed to support your personal journey.
You will experience:
A continental breakfast and peaceful welcome
Wanda Pearson’s Forgiveness and Freedom Workshop
Guided reflection using The Freedom Journal™
Emotional-healing and healthy-boundaries guidance from therapist Shinah Russell
A message of light, hope, and purpose from Eric McBryde
A restorative sound-bowl experience led by Brittnee Wilder
Lunch and fellowship
Self-forgiveness exercises and affirmations
The Freedom Wall release activity
A closing Freedom Declaration and blessing
Each part of the experience has been selected to help you examine what you may be carrying and consider what you are ready to release.
The Experience Begins With Stillness
Your day begins with check-in, continental breakfast, peaceful music, fellowship, and time to settle into the environment.
You will receive The Freedom Journal™, which will accompany you throughout the retreat. It offers a quiet place to record your thoughts, explore meaningful questions, and return to your own inner wisdom as the day unfolds.
At 10:00 a.m., Wanda Pearson will welcome guests with an opening prayer. From there, the retreat will move into a forgiveness workshop exploring what forgiveness is: and what it is not.
Forgiveness does not require you to deny what happened. It does not ask you to ignore your feelings or abandon healthy boundaries. Instead, this experience creates room to consider how release may support your next chapter.
A Thoughtful Rhythm Of Teaching And Connection
The morning continues with guidance from therapist Shinah Russell on emotional healing, the experiences we carry, and the importance of healthy boundaries.
This portion of the day offers an opportunity to reflect on the difference between carrying pain and honoring your journey. It also creates space to consider how boundaries can support peace, clarity, and healthier relationships.
After the morning sessions, guests will share lunch and fellowship. This break allows you to connect with others in a relaxed setting while enjoying the beauty of the Peace on the Pond property.

Light, Hope, And A Renewed Sense Of Possibility
Following lunch, Eric McBryde will share a message focused on light, hope, and purpose.
You will then have time for personal journal reflection before moving into a restorative sound-bowl experience led by Brittnee Wilder.
The sound-bowl session is designed to create a gentle pause for stillness, relaxation, reflection, and peace. At a retreat in Georgia surrounded by trees, water, and open space, these quiet moments can feel especially meaningful.
You do not need to arrive with every answer.
You only need to arrive with a willingness to be present.
The Freedom Work
The afternoon continues with The Freedom Work, led by Wanda Pearson.
This portion of the retreat will include self-forgiveness exercises, affirmations, and guided reflection focused on reclaiming your peace. You will be invited to consider what it means to move forward without allowing past experiences to define your future.
The Freedom Wall release activity offers another intentional moment to name what you are ready to leave behind.
You may arrive carrying a difficult memory, a long-held feeling, or a relationship that continues to occupy emotional space. Through the day’s practices, you will have an opportunity to acknowledge your experience and make a conscious choice about what you want to carry forward.

A Closing Declaration Of Freedom
The experience will culminate in a Freedom Declaration:
TODAY, I CHOOSE FREEDOM.
The closing portion of the day will include final reflection, testimonials, a closing blessing, and an introduction to the 21-Day Freedom Journey.
You will leave with time to consider the next steps in your own process. The goal is not to rush your experience. It is to create a meaningful beginning.
